The employment law group features Ms. Cherie Adams who provides counseling to clients on a variety of employment-related matters, including evaluations, discipline, the development of employment agreements, policy development and implementation, internal grievance and complaint mechanisms, contract administration and employee rights and responsibilities. Martindale-Hubbell has given Ms. Adams an AV rating. She has also been named by New Jersey Monthly magazine for three consecutive years as being among the top five percent of lawyers in the State. Ms. Adams received her B.A. summa cum laude from Rider College and her law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.
Next, Mr. Perry Lattiboudere who was Chief Legal Counsel to New Jersey’s largest school district, the Newark Public Schools for over six years. He was responsible for all legal matters and counseled the Superintendent, managerial staff and the Board of Education on a wide variety of legal issues. Prior to his service with the Newark schools, Mr. Lattiboudere was Senior Staff Counsel at the Hertz Corporation and as an Associate with Sills Cummis Epstein & Gross in the employment litigation and education group. His career began at the New Jersey Division of Law representing state agencies and managers in employment matters as a Deputy Attorney General. Throughout his fifteen year career, Mr. Lattiboudere litigated numerous employment claims before juries in State and Federal Court with favorable results on behalf of employers.
The firm practices before all levels of New Jersey State Courts, including the New Jersey Supreme Court and New Jersey Administrative Tribunals. We have also litigated in the federal courts of New Jersey, Massachusetts and New York and before agencies that administer employment laws, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Public Employment Relations Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Merit System Board and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights.
